Yuga Labs’ BAYC, OtherSide Discord groups breached, over 145 ETH stolen
OKHotshot concluded the examination and exposed the wallets where the NFTs were held. This was the 2nd attack on BAYC in as many weeks.

OKHotshots examination revealed that the attack was brought out by Boris Vagner (neighborhood manager and social manager at Yuga Labs), hacking into his Discord account.
Cointelegraph has yet to hear back from Yuga Labs.
Yuga Labs was the creators of the 2 most popular nonfungible tokens (NFTs) including apes: Bored Ape Yacht club (BAYC), and OtherSide. Investors lost over 145 Ethers (ETH) or practically $260,000 throughout the latest phishing attack.
Many Discord users succumbed to the phishing messages promising limited-quantity free gifts for NFT holders, regardless of understanding the fraud. The screenshot above programs this.

After they gained unlimited access, the scammers shared phishing links from Vagners Discord account to the official BAYC and Mutant Ape Yacht Clubs (MAYC), and otherside groups.
OKHotshot, a crypto investigator and member of the Crypto Twitter Community, informed crypto investors to the compromise of 2 official Discord group linked to BAYC or OtherSide NFTs.

Although the extent of the damage caused by this hack is not known, NFT owners should be cautious when handling third celebration platforms. It is necessary to confirm any details shared by others, despite the fact that they might appear trustworthy.
