Puma registers ENS domain, changes name to Puma.eth on Twitter
All.ETH names can be “easily plugged in to the ever expanding NFT ecosystem,” according to an ENS Medium post. An ENS name can be used to receive any cryptocurrency token or blockchain-based possession. It can also point to a decentralized website, store profile info, such as an avatar or e-mail address, and allow you to store your Twitter manage.

Puma, along with Adidas and Nike, is one of the most popular global sportswear brand names. Nike purchased the virtual sneakers and antiques business RTFKT. Adidas Originals released an NFT partnership with Bored Ape Yacht Club and PUNKS Comic.

Pumas ENS is simply among numerous NFT-related moves the business has made over the last few years. According to Puma.eth OpenSea, Puma bought a variety of feline-inspired NFT collections, including Cool Cats NFT and Lazy Lions.
Puma was ranked 13th on the.eth Leaderboard at the time of publication. This list lists the most popular Twitter accounts using.ETH names. Parishilton.eth remains in top place, owned by Paris Hilton, and shaq.eth by Shaquille Ol Neal (ex-NBA player).
Puma is among a growing number of brands that have bought a decentralized URL. They also exposed their non-fungible token (NFT) by altering their Twitter handle from Puma.eth. The domain was registered by the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) by the German sportswear brand name Puma.
Budweiser, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev bought Beer.eth on OpenSea through ENS for 30 ETH lastyear. And when the fast-food chain White Castle signed up whitecastleofficial.eth, ENS previous director of operations even tweeted about his enjoyment.

According to Dune Analytics the Ethereum Name Service currently has 724,096 ENS domains signed up. The highest monthly registrations have happened in the last few months.
